Games are better when everyone can play them, and when they are built from a diverse range of perspectives and experiences.
To celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2026 we’re releasing POLYGON Wheelchair Pack - now available for FREE for Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot developers! The purpose of Global Accessibility Awareness Day is to get more people talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than one billion people with disabilities/impairments. We hope these help you bring more diverse representation to your games and projects!
In this pack you'll find six types of mobility aids which you can use for your projects - traditional wheelchair, mobility scooter, electric wheelchair, walking frame, racing wheelchair and sports wheelchair.
If you're looking for resources to help guide you in accessibility best practices when making your games, here are a couple of really great places to start below:
- Game Accessibility Guidelines - provides a variety of 'how to' guidelines ranging from basic to advanced
- Accessible.Games - a round up of resources put together by the Able Gamers charity
If you’re working on (or have released) a game using Synty assets which features a disabled character(s), or with a focus on player accessibility, we’d love to hear about it in our Synty community Discord.
