Our 12th Birthday Game Jam is officially over!
We received 78 entries and the amazing Synty community has given 1104 ratings on Itch. We had three community judging categories for this jam, with the top 5 voted overall being played by the Synty Team, and one game awarded 'Synty's Choice'!
The categories were:
🎮 Best Gameplay: The game that's most enjoyable to play
📖 Best Theme: The game with the most innovative or best use of the Jam's Theme
🃏 Wild Card Award: The game that wows in an unexpected way
⭐ Synty's Choice: The Synty team will play the top 5 overall games as voted by you, the public, and then select a winner!

It was really hard to pick our Synty's Choice Award winner, and we almost ended in a tie across all top 5! "But where is he?" ended up coming out ahead! We absolutely loved having so many NPCs living out their lives across the mall, and interacting with each other, the stores, and the environment, the world really felt alive, we also feel it hit the theme's nail on it's head, well done Conan!
Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to everyone who entered and helped celebrate our 12th birthday! We were completely blown away by the amount of entries, how many of you left feedback and comments for each other, and very much hope those of you who participated found it valuable and rewarding.
