Q: Does this pack work with Mecanim? A: Yes! However, this pack only supports standard POLYGON characters, POLYGON Kids, and POLYGON Big Rig characters. ANIMATION - Swords Combat animations make use of a prop bone, an extra bone added to the hand. You may need to retarget the animations using third-party tools to get the prop bone to animate correctly on other characters.

I have trialed and tested this asset with Dungeons, Dungeon Realms, Fantasy Kingdom, Ancient Empire, Dark Fantasy and Elven Realm. These animations play out wonderfully and are very easy to set up. The only problem was with the characters in Dungeons, but once I was informed to use the Fixed Scale Dungeons characters, all worked perfectly, just like the others. This asset, used in conjunction with the Base Locomotion asset, has proved to be a boon to the project I am working on. The animations really are first rate and they merge so smoothly with each other that all sorts of options are open to the design process. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be more offerings of this sort in the future - shield blocking, gun combat, bow and arrow combat would be incredible. Whatever may come in the future will be an instant purchase.

Works great, even with inverse kinematics package
at first its very hard to set up the sword bone correctly, even with documentation, you might have to fiddle with the Prop Bone Binder, but overall great package, it even includes a script to adapt the sword bone to any model (honestly great job guys, sweet animations and great script)
